The Latest Bits!
Facebook, Twitter and, most recently, Google + have almost killed this blog. Their ease of use, instantaneous publishing and incomparable audience reach all but negated the hard work most often associated with maintaining a web site.
But in social media I am just one among millions and my post just a trickle in a flood of personal musings clamoring to be noticed and heard. In this blog, at least, my voice is supreme albeit if only to an audience of one. That is why I keep coming back here in my home at Q-bits.
The blog is still the central feature of this site but, in its current form, Q-bits has been expanded to become a single cyber-destination for everything else that I’m passionate about – my family, my photography, my occasional writing and the causes I believe in and support . I’ve also been quite active lately with social media, and with video documentary production (thanks to the ease of using the new Final Cut Pro X) and will use this site to highlight my opinions on the networked mindset.
So welcome. Read the blog, view my photo gallery or leave a comment.
