Tracks of Infamy
Tracks of Infamy, Auschwitz, Poland. Made (in)famous by the movie Schindler’s List, this picture shows the tower where the camp commandant did his early morning target shooting. What struck me was how big the concentration camp was, this is Auschwitz II-Birkenau showing the dreaded Gate of Death,. The railroad track spur was where SS physicians carried out the selection from prisoners brought in by the train.
