Autumn is my absolute favourite season, photography-wise. Much like the season of Spring, there is an explosion of colour everywhere. Nature sheds its cape of green for the more subtle hues of yellow and orange or blazing red. The days are shorter and it is not yet too cold so you can photograph in the “golden light” or “blue light” without waking up too early or staying out too late. And, in general, the light during the day is warmer and not too bright and contrasty, thus resulting in much warmer images.

But I’d rather show than tell. So please browse through the following images and you, too, might end up sharing my appreciation for the season that is Autumn.
