Doors, Doors, Doors

They come in all sizes, colours, styles and materials yet serve the same purpose – as an entrance to an establishment, building, business, house or residence. I’m talking about doors. It has always fascinated me how much time and artistic efforts were invested in creating these doors. These iconic structures are symbols of life passages; transitions, endings, new beginnings. And in much of Europe, our cultural understanding is fuller because many of these structures live on until today.
