Up to the mountains

As the Summer of 2020 – also known as the corona summer or the summer that never was – draws to a close, the recurring vacation theme in Austria was “Urlaub Dahoam”.But in landlocked Austria, the destination choices are either historic villages, churches, and castle ruins on one end or mountains, lakes and rivers on the other side of the spectrum. So it was a choice between crowds and enclosed spaces or the open fresh air, no people, high altitudes and great scenery. We opted for the latter and we have pictures to prove it.
